Heat Wave

A combination of a heat wave and water restrictions means that we are seeing more birds visiting our birdbath. This photo was taken from our bedroom window using an Olympus C765UZ digital camera with a focal length of 63mm, shutter speed of 1/200 and aperture of f3.7

Tour Down Under

This photo was taken near the finish at Angaston using an Olympus C765UZ digital camera with a focal length of 16mm, shutter speed of 1/320 and aperture of f4. Panning the camera during exposure gives a clear view of the cyclist, with a blurring of the crowd. The delay from pressing the shutter release to the taking the photo is a problem in capturing the action!

Chasing Seagulls

We took our dog Spot for a 'walk' along the beach. Unfortunately he likes to chase seagulls. Here he is running in mid flight!
