No Diving

Following the accidental part draining of the Torrens Lake, I was reminded of this photo that I took in the 70's. It was taken near the University footbridge and shows an upside-down store mannequin next to a sign saying no diving. You should be able to zoom into the image by clicking on it!

Road to nowhere

These concrete blocks normally live in the middle of busy Adelaide streets and are used to protect pedestrians and cyclists who have to stop in the middle, when crossing busy roads. They have been placed here to make way for the V8 super cars street race, which is held in March

Rock and Roll I gave you ...

As the song goes "Rock and Roll I gave you the best years of my life". I guess the subject of the song finally got the message

Lucky Break

A gum tree dropped a large branch over a path in the Adelaide Parklands. Luckily it broke sufficiently to walk and cycle past it

Thirsty Koala

We spotted this hot koala while taking our dog for a walk. The container (marked koala water) was nearby. We filled the container with water and the koala had a long drink
